Installation Instructions:

To install this version of Alpine, copy alpine.exe and
the four dll files to the same directory. If you wish
to avoid doing this, you can simply run this binary
from the directory in which you extracted it.

The folder libressl\certs contains certificates.
These are necessary to avoid validation errors when
connecting securely to remote servers, and they help
you protect yourself against man-in-the-middle
attacks, where a hacker could impersonate the server
you are trying to login to, and steal your
credentials. Copy all the certificates in the folder
libressl\certs to C:\libressl\certs. Create such
folder in your computer if it does not exist.

If you run into trouble, do not hesitate to ask for
help in one of the help forums. Either in the
alpine-info list maintained by the University of
Washington, or in the newsgroup comp.mail.pine.
